ARC Raiders is finally out and here are five essential tips you need to know to get started.

Never ADS Hold, Watch & Wait Instead:

In third-person view, holding angles differs from first-person view. Awareness is more important than beating the enemy to the shot. To effectively hold an angles, do the following:

Stay protected behind cover.

Keep your weapon in-line with where you suspect the enemy to be.

When your opponent peeks, move out and shoot.

This takes discipline to master, so give yourself time.

Upgrade Your Stamina First in the Passive Skill Tree:

Having poor stamina can be, well... embarrassing.

Thankfully, the passive skill tree grants vital bonuses to increase this essential stat. To become a stamina god, put your first twenty-two (22) skill points into these traits in this order:

Congratulations, you are now a stamina god.

Always Heal Before Shields:

Shields in ARC Raiders (2025) are not extra health bars; having full shields and health is not the same as having double health, even with heavy shields. Shields in ARC Raiders mitigate damage. After taking damage, always heal first, then charge your shields.

Don't believe it? Let's do some math. If you only have 15 HP remaining and you have a full medium shields, it only takes 27 damage to down you with the 45% damage reduction.

Always... Heal... First!

Effective Shield Strength:

Speaking of shields, your effective HP with each type of shield isn't as much as you think it is. Here's the breakdown:

Shields can make the difference between winning and losing a fire fight, but don't overestimate their value. Positioning and cunning will make more of a difference in the long run.

Customizing your Crosshairs:

In the game's options menu under accessibility, you can customize the look of your crosshairs. You can change the color, the contrast, thickness, and even get a real-time representation of your weapon's spread.

Bright green is usually the best, since people with normal color vision can see more variations of green than any other color. There are also options to help color-blind Raiders as well.

That's all for now. Make sure to keep checking back for more ARC Raiders content.

See you on the other side.💀
